The aim is to make complex political and economic issues easier to understand and to help readers examine evidence, question claims and reach their own conclusions.

The site publishes two core formats:

About the Editor

Denis Hay is the founder and editor of Social Justice Australia. His background spans trades and engineering, university study in psychology and counselling, and professional counselling and community work.

Drawing on more than six decades of working life and observation of Australian social, political and economic change, he writes about public policy, social justice, democracy and Australia’s monetary system.

As editor, he is responsible for editorial decisions, sourcing standards and published content. Social Justice Australia’s approach to evidence, sourcing, corrections and the distinction between fact and opinion is explained in its Editorial Standards.
