Common tactics:

  • Fear campaigns (crime, refugees, “welfare fraud”)

  • Outrage cycles (non-stop moral panic)

  • Celebrity scandals to distract from corruption

  • Blaming powerless people instead of powerful industries

When citizens fight each other, they stop questioning the system.
